Movie Trip TV is proud to announce the film nominees for the 2nd Annual Cinema Buzz Movie Trip Awards hosted by Theresa O’Leary. The winners will be revealed live at the awards show Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Screenland Tapcade 1701 McGee Street, Kansas City, MO at 8PM ET/5PM PT and will be broadcast on Facebook Live.
“Movie Trip TV is a combination of two of my favorite things: travel and movies,” said Movie Trip TV creator and personality, Theresa O’Leary. “When I see a movie that was shot on location it makes me want to visit there. I think that’s true for many people. I am thrilled to celebrate movies and do good things for the community at the same time.”
This year Cinema Buzz Movie Trip Awards has partnered with My Power of One (an e-commerce lifestyle brand that believes in the power inside each ONE of us to have a positive impact on our world) to help raise money for Kansas City, Missouri’s Foreign Language Academy 8th grade class trip to Puerto Rico. Students will sell the “Inspire” shirt from the clothing line with 10% of the profits going to the student travel fund. Approximately 32 students will take the trip in Spring 2017 and have been working hard over the past several months to raise funds.
“When I was approached with the idea to partner with Movie Trip TV and the Foreign Language Academy it was pretty much a no-brainer for me,” commented Sue Vicory, founder of My Power of One. “The inspiration and exposure you receive from being in another country and meeting people and experiencing the culture is a priceless gift.”
New to this year is a partnership with Cinema Buzz and Vision Digital Cinema. Cinema Buzz will rebroadcast the show at a date TBA. Kansas City based video production company, Vision Digital Cinema whose work was recently seen on national television in the 2-hour series finale of the E! News reality show ‘Catching Kelce’, are serving as co-producers of the show.
